GetGround User Research Terms and Conditions

1. These terms & conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to the competition promoted by GetGround for the participation by you in a minimum 30 minute product research call (the “Research Call”) with a member of the Product, Growth or Design team prior to 20 March 2024 (the “Competition”).


2. The Competition is operated and run by Terranova.Network Limited, trading as GetGround, a company registered under the laws of England & Wales with company registration number 11273793 whose registered address is 1 Lyric Square, Hammersmith, London, England, W6 0NB (also referred to in these T&Cs as “GetGround”, “we”, “us” and “our”).


3. Entry into the Competition is on a per person or GetGround company basis and is completed by the booking and attendance of a Research Call by you with a member of the Product, Growth or Design team at GetGround.  


4. The Competition will run from 10.00am (UK Time) on 25 January 2024 to 10.00am (UK Time) on 20 March 2024 inclusive.

5. There will be one winner of the Competition that will be selected at random by GetGround using a computer programme.


6. The prize in respect of the Competition entitles the winner to one £200 Amazon voucher (the “Prize”).


7. The Competition is not open to:

a. any company owned by employees of GetGround or its holding or subsidiary companies;
b. any company owned by members of the immediate families or households of (a); or,
c. any employee or immediate families or households of GetGround.

8. In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.

9. GetGround will not accept entries to the Competition that are:

a. automatically generated by computer;
b. completed by third parties or in bulk;
c. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
d. photocopies and not originals; or
e. incomplete.

10. GetGround will not accept responsibility for  entries to the Competition that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

11. There is a limit of one entry per GetGround customer or landlord in respect of the Competition. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.


12. We reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize and/or the Competition.


13. The Prize is not negotiable, refundable or transferable and there is no cash alternative.


14. Our decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

We will contact the winner of the Prize directly as soon as practicable after the winner has been randomly selected, using the email address provided with the survey responses.


15. You may request the confirmation of the winners of the Prize by sending a private message to us by emailing gethelp@getground.co.uk but for data protection nothing more than a first name of the winner will be provided. 


16. GetGround must provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.


17. A winning customer or landlord will have 30 days from the date we contact them to claim the Prize. If they do not claim the Prize by this date, the claim will become invalid.


18. We will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner of the Prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed the Prize within 30 days of being contacted by us, we reserve the right to offer the Prize to another eligible Competition entrant randomly selected by us.


19. We do not accept any responsibility if a customer or landlord is unable to take up the Prize.

20. Insofar as is permitted by law, GetGround, its affiliates, agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of GetGround, its affiliates,  agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.


21. We may use your name and the personal information which you provide to us in entering the Competition to contact you for the purposes described in these T&Cs and also in respect of any of our products or services which we think may interest you. We will process and store your information in accordance with our privacy policy which can be found at the following link (https://www.getground.co.uk/privacy-policy).


22. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these T&Cs, GetGround may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.

23. GetGround reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize where it becomes necessary to do so.

24. GetGround reserves the right to update these T&Cs from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.

25. These T&Cs shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
