Working with your Solicitors

Once your company is completed and you have provided us with your solicitor’s details, we will email all required documents to your solicitor with you in copy. These documents include:

  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Memorandum of Association
  • Articles of Association
  • Copies of the Share Certificates
  • Exchange Minutes (authorising the property purchase)

To find out more information about these documents, please see our guide to Legal Company Documents. Once all your documents have been signed, you can also find them stored on your GetGround dashboard by going to the ‘Documents’ tab.

If your solicitor needs any further assistance from us or any details about your company, we are always happy to assist. We will not, however, liaise with your solicitor on your actual property purchase or any other matters - they should be liaising with you directly throughout this process.

Changing your Solicitor's Details

If you need to change your solicitor's details at any point, you can do so through your GetGround dashboard. Please follow the steps below: 

Desktop

  1. log in to your GetGround dashboard
  2. Select "My Investments' on the left side-bar
  3. Click on "Go To Investment" on the relevant property
  4. Select the 'Company' tab and enter the new information under the Solicitor details section. 

Mobile

  1. log in to your GetGround dashboard
  2. Select the drop-down menu in the top-right corner and click 'My Investments'
  3. Click 'View' to be taken into your investment details
  4. Select the 'Company' tab and enter the new information under the Solicitor details section. 

You can click on the button to send an email to your new solicitor. This will trigger an automatic message so that your solicitor is informed of their role.
