There is an administrative fee of £199 + VAT associated with terminating your GetGround company. Additional fees may apply should you have any specific requests through the termination period.
Once you provide us with 30 days' written notice to terminate, we will ask whether you would like to strike your company off completely, or simply terminate your agreement with GetGround
If you'd like to strike off your company
After we have received notice, you will receive an email outlining the process and instructions on how to approve the application to strike off your company.
We will begin the process by applying to strike off the company at Companies House, as well as cancel your subscription payments and close your company account. Your company account will be closed within 5 working days.
You will then need to make sure that the application to strike off your company is approved by all your company directors. The email that you receive will outline how to do this. Once approved, we will pay for the application with Companies House.
We will then wait for Companies House to strike off your company on the register - this may take approximately two months. Once this is done, we will send you an email shortly after confirming the details for your future reference.
If you'd like to terminate your service with GetGround but retain your company
After we have received notice, you will receive an email outlining the process. You will then need to confirm the new company name and registered address with us.
Once we have confirmed the new company details, we will cancel your subscription payments and close your company account. Your company account will be closed within 5 working days.
To change the company name, a Special Resolution is required. We will draft this for you and send it for your review and signature via DocuSign. We will then file the changes to your company name and registered address at Companies House.
Once the changes have been filed and accepted by Companies House, we will provide notice to the company of GetGround's resignation and file this with Companies House as we will no longer be doing your company resignation. We will send you an email shortly after confirming the details for your future reference.
