When Will I Receive My UTR?

Your UTR is the unique tax reference for your UK limited company

Your UTR code is your company’s “Unique Taxpayer Reference” and is provided by HMRC to GetGround when your company is incorporated. You will have one UTR per company.

Generally, HMRC will issue your UTR within 3-6 weeks, but it might be faster or longer depending on how busy HMRC are. As soon as we receive your code, we will upload it to your company dashboard so that you have access to it whenever you need it.

If you have not received your UTR, to be safe, you can always a request a new one by following the simple process on HMRC here.
