Opening Your Account
As part of your GetGround service, each company you set up with us will have an associated Business account to help you manage your finances. This account will be opened up with one of our partners (either Modulr or PFS) and can be accessed through your dashboard. Check out our article on our partners to find out more.
Once you have signed your company documents, GetGround will automatically take the steps necessary to open your Company Account. This process will usually take 2-3 business days to be set up and ready to use. You’ll receive an email from us as soon as the account is open.
Access to your account
Your company, which is owned by you and other shareholders, has full control over your Business account. GetGround will not complete any transactions on your behalf.
That being said, GetGround does have regulatory obligations to monitor account activity for AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and security purposes. We may sometimes request information from you about activity in your account. If you’d like to learn more about what we do to fight financial crime, please have a look at our blog post on the matter.
Who is your account provider?
If your company was incorporated after 2022, your business account is held by Modulr. Business accounts created before 2022 were held by EML (previously PFS).
Finding your account details
You can locate your business account details by following the steps below:
- Login to your GetGround dashboard
- Select 'Portfolio' on the menu bar
- You can choose the relevant 'Business account' by clicking 'View'
- Select 'Account details'
- You should now be able to view your UK and international account details
